About This Item

Bill and Kid

Schoolhouse Rock started as a small idea sparked in 1971 when ad executive David McCall's son had trouble remembering his multiplication tables. Colleagues George Newall and Thomas Yohe, helped bring the idea to life with music and animation.
With the help of Michael Eisner (who worked for ABC at the time), Schoolhouse Rock was born and many of us had an easier time with math, english, history and science because of it.

With it's clever cartoons and wonderful jazz-y soundtracks, Schoolhouse Rock went on to win four Emmy Awards, one of which was for "I'm Just a Bill"

I love this TB!!! I remember seeing the Schoolhouse Rock cartoons when I was a kid and this was my favorite. I'm not going to be in DC anytime soon but I'll move Bill to another cache and hopefully he will reach his goal.
