About This Item

I live near Seattle but I mailed this travel bug to another geocacher, TrackerGirl, in Altoona, PA for release. This feels a bit like tossing a boomerang for the first time and wondering if it will make it back home.

Please help this Travel Bug find it's way back across the country to Seattle. I am not looking for someone to mail it back to me. Just help it get from cache to cache.

Before we left the house to find this bug a place to start, I started reading the paper that it had been wrapped up in while in the mail on its way to us... The Getaways section of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer ran a story called Oregon Vortex on September 25, 2003 which contained tales of places of legend, paranormal, mystery and unexplained activity. One of those mentioned in the story was... Gravity Hill!!! Why did we only get those pages? Was it fate? A sign of otherworldly powers? or just a cooincidence that brought this bug here? That is for you to decide... we felt it best to take it as a sign and dropped Seattle or Bust at this cache. Please help it on its way west!!!

After having some problems with a travel bug of my own, I met Peak Freak who helped me straighten it out... He sent me his bug, and I hope to help it get started on a journey back to Seattle.
