Dane's Tick TB is competing with Dane's Arthur TB to see who can rack up the most miles and the most caches/cities/states/countries visited. (They'd each love to meet other Tick and Arthur TBs along the way, too). UPDATE 06/20/06: SADLY, ARTHUR DISAPPEARED LONG AGO, BUT THANKS TO ALL WHO'VE KEPT TICK GOING - NOW OVER 6,000 MILES!
The Tick was a great cartoon that may one day be revived. (It was made into a short-lived live-action sitcom, too). Arthur is the Tick's trusty sidekick. There are several Tick TBs travelling around the US - this one suffered some damage before being released when he tangled with a dreaded arch-nemesis, Bubba the Jack Russell Terrier. UPDATE 06/20/06: SADLY, BUBBA THE JACK RUSSELL TERRIER HAS ALSO GONE ON TO A BETTER PLACE (A FARM, NOT HEAVEN).
