I have yet go to Tennessee or North Carolina on the AT!! Unless you count the Rest Stop in Tennessee I think that is right next to The AT. Move this coin to a spot on the Appalachian Trail in either of these states and take a picture of a cool spot. Please don't keep this coin. Keep it moving.

    Well, I said I would deliver this coin to the Appalachain Trail, and I have done that in a grand way! I placed this coin in Mont Jacques Cartier cache today on the International Trail. This is the highest cache in Quebec and was at the summit of the mountain. This is an extraordinary section very near to the start of the International section in the Gaspie area of Quebec. It is within the Quebeec provincial Park - Parc de la Gaspasie. We were most impressed with this park - the vast array of trails, the extraordinary scenery, the fact that park staff stationed themselves at many of the park's viewpoints to provide information (in French and English) and the great park infrastructure. We saw a caribou on the trek to this cache! I hopoe this coin now stays on the Appalachain Trail and has lots of exciting adventures, as it has been a long time waiting to get there!     My, my! This coin has been in circulation for quite some time and has made it nowhere near the Appalachian Trail! I am actually planning to go to mile zero of the Appalachain Trail in the Gaspe region of Quebec in August. So..... I can:
    (a) hang on to this coin until then, dipping it in to some caches on my travels - I am attending a reunion of my Bruce Trail end-to-end hiking buddies in May and would love to share it with them - leaving it on or very near the Appalachian Trail in August
    (b) put it right away in another cache in Ajax, Ontario
    (c) get it headed in the right direction by taking it to Ottawa in April
    (d) get it headed in the right direction by taking it to Montreal in May
