Current Goal

Well I have always been a fan of Mopar (Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth) Muscle cars. Please take this bug around to places that could have something to do with MOPAR MUSCLE CARS! (Races, Car shows, Dealers, Pictures with your Mopar, Ect...).

I picked this one up and exchanged it with a Miata (not a TB Miata and I had to get ride of the Miata...simple because it's a Miata!)
I have a couple goals for this one while I have it and hopefully I'll be able to get to them all before sending it on it's way.
I don't have a mopar, but once again the TB was taken for a ride in a BMW.

  1. Take it to the Crystal Cove auto show. Well not really a show, but more like a gathering of some of the most incredible cars to roll the earth.

UPDATE The day I went by the show, no one was there. I have one more local gathering I will try!
Well I never got to Crystal Cove, but I finally got to the Tuesday Night car show at Fuddruckers! Several Mopars there!

  2. Take TB to my next Go Kart race on 9/11/04. I'll carry it in my pocket for the whole race. www.moranraceway.com is the track and Tri C Karters http://www.tri-ckarters.com/ is the club. I'm currently 3rd in the championship race so it should be fun.
    **Done - Picture above

  3. Then I'll take it for a ride on my motorcycle...this excursion will let this little TB see triple digit speeds.
**Done - See picture above. I also have a video, but it's rather large (almost 7 megs) and the quality isn't that great, but here's the link: http://www.webs4racers.com/misc/GC/fast_tb.mpg

  4. Trip to Disneyland so I can take it's picture in front of Autopia ** I ended up bailing out on the Disneyland trip.

  5. Then it's off to Peterson Automotive Museum in LA. This is the place to go if you're an automotive nut. http://www.petersen.org/
Completed! See the great photos below!

The TB's journey will be documented with pictures. My intentions are to get all this done before I head to Washington D.C. on the 20th so I can leave it in DC to continue the trip. Well didn't get to drop it off in DC...just ran out of time!

Wish me luck!!

  • WTF... What happens when you build a car around a motor. You should have seen this thing try to drive. The cam was so big it would lunge when rolling at idle.
  • Ever build a car around a motor?
