About This Item

Finally activated in August 2010, and deployed atop Rattlesnake Mountain, as part the cache "Comfortable at Home". This was a gift from ON2GEO for E of the team salmot1, to place in his first cache. This bug would like to travel the world and take in the views from atop each mountain. So, if you take MPB to a mountain top, please post a pick from up there. Good luck and travel well!!

    I obtained this travel bug some time ago from a Geo caching social event they were handing them out to newbies like me. Little did I realize that this bug by proper caching etiquette should be placed within two weeks or so. So forgive me for holding on to it this long. I just learned how to log a travel bug so I am officially claiming it. Learning that the bugs mission is to visit mountain tops so I will place it in a cache on top of nearby Cowles Mtn. Not a very big mountain elevation only about 1500ft or so but is the tallest Mtn. here in San Diego County. When I place it I will post a picture. I will have to be careful as the rattle snakes have been out strong this year. Seems fitting seeing how it was originally placed on Rattle Snake mountain.
