The reason is that the first time I visited these islands (april 2013) I did not have an official trackable of mine to leave here for ever. Then all of a sudden I happened to go these beautiful islands in October 2013 for five weeks. This time I have brought along this Mariquita Pikapolonica with a lovely Travel Heart tag attached. It has to do a lot with me. First, I have a travel heart and soul indeed, and second, my muggle name is related to the name of this tiny animal. So please, keep me at the Canary Islands and visit as many caches as you like with me, just don't lose me! :) When you come to the islands again, I'll be glad to join you! :) Thanks a million!

La razón es sencilla: la primera vez que estuve en las Canarias (en abril 2013), no llevaba conmigo ningún traqueable oficial para dejar en las islas para siempre. Luego, todo de repente estoy de vuelta en estas islas preciosas en octubre 2013, por un período de cinco semanas. Esta vez voy preparada y llevo a Mariquita Pikapolonica con un Travel Heart simpático con el código. Tiene que ver mucho conmigo. Primero, me gusta viajar con todo mi corazón, y segundo, mi nombre de muggle está relacionado con el nombre de este animalillo. Entonces por favor, quiero viajar contigo por las Canarias cuanto tu quieras pero al final quiero quedarme en las islas. Pero ¡que no se te ocurra perderme! :) ¡Cuando vuelvas a las islas, te acompañaré de nuevo, con mucho gusto! :) ¡Gracias mil!

After nearly two years of no logs it is time to set Mariquita Pikapolonica as missing. Thanks to fellow geocachers - especially FamiDelCau - it has seen a lot of Canary Islands and was active for three years. :) I am glad that this story is so good. I am also certain that it must be somewhere with someone (on planet Earth, that is :D) , as the cache at Acantilados has been okay since the trackable was seen there for the last time. I would also like to thank adam law for the photo of Mariquita on 25 October 2016, at its last-seen location at Acantilados, and I am copying it over here. :)
