Bob has been a great little companion, and has met many new friends while staying with us on Buffalo Bayou in the Bayou City (Houston). We were on our way to Grand Isle, LA (to a brand new cache on the ocean), when Tropical Storm Cindy detoured us to Baton Rouge. Bob decided to hide out in the deep woods until the storm passed, so we parted company.

Grabbed Bob during a lunch stop with about a dozen geologists and geophysicists on a geology field trip. Based on his travels, Bob appears to be a Yankee octopus. Think I'll show him some southern hospitality and drop him off in bayou country.
