Ok, finally got to a lake to do some fishing with this TB. Fishing hole was on Sixth Lake (UTM 19 T 0620057 5064539) in New Brunswick, just off of Hwy 630 north of Spednik Lake. Today Sarge36 and PeteMac (new to Canada and our "interesting pastimes" as he put it) hiked in for an hour to the lake, fished all day, and hiked back out (still took an hour!). A nice ice fishing day: sunny, -8C (-15C with the windchill), slightly overcast. Within 5 minutes of dropping a line, I had a small white fish out on the ice and we all thought we were in for lots of action. It was a small fish so back it went, and back to our holes we went. The only action we saw was: the propane stove breaking and lots of "fire" and us moving around the lake. No other fish was taken this day before we decided to pack it in! So here are some pictures but unfortunately, none with a fish. Overall, we have a fun day: logged 4 geo-caches, caught a fish, introduced PeteMac to snowshoeing, ice-fishing and a moose! Can't complain, all good! Hope this TB brings someone else better luck.
Cheers,
Eryx
