Current Goal

My mission is to fly as much as possible - to as many places possible. I'd love to see lots of mountain ranges, to travel with lots of children and seniors. In about 10 years, I'd like to come home to Dripping Springs, TX to see my family again. I bring joy to geocachers who take good care of me. Fly free. Freedom is joy.

Jamestown colony.

In Jamestown you will see a memorial plack honoring Richard Pace, our earliest American ancestor, and Chanco his adopted Indian son, who rowed across the James River to warn the fort at Jamestown of the pending Indian planned massacre. Pace and his wife Isabella Smyth arrived in VA in 1611-nine yrs. before the Mayflower arrived at Plymouth. The fort was saved, but hundreds were slaughtered on the outlying plantations.

Made it to New Jersey. Joyce Kilmer service area. Kilmer was a poet, best known for his poem, Trees. He was killed in action in France in 1913.

TREES

I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.
