Current Goal

The Sausage Race back to Little Cache on the Prairie in Eden Prairie, MN... We dropped off 4 travel bugs (#1 Brat, #2 Polish, #3 Italian, #4 Hot Dog) in Hawaii when we got married in November of 2006 (two on Kauai and two on Molokai) and wanted to see who made it back to Eden Prairie first before we send them out on their next mission. The figures used are from the Milwaukee Brewer's Sausage Race.

About This Item

#4 Hot Dog starts the race...

Unfortunately Hot Dog is no longer himself (in fact he's now a Rapala Fish Lure thanks to a kind cacher [I used to use hot dogs as bait, so in an odd way it works :) ]). Just like that hamburger or hot dog that falls through the grate and onto the grills, sounds like the hot dog body is gone. But like heartburn, he lives on in our hearts (or at least close by). I'm hoping to get the two remaining sausages back to Minneapolis to get them new 'bodies' along with the two sausages TB that have gone missing, add Chirizo (the newest racing sausage) and start a new sausage race. Unfortunately they no longer make the bendy racing sausages so I'm trying to find the body for all of them.

#4 Hot Dog now looks like THIS

The original #4 Hot Dog, also know as Frankie Furter was a hot dog and wore a baseball uniform and looked like this.

Grabbed it from Lexypex. Great story. Frankie has morphed into a fish! We are working hard to get him much closer to home. We'll drop him off within the next few weeks. 😎

I was a little confused when the bug didn't match the picture, but other logs seemed to point out the same thing... I will get this moving soon.

The hitchhiker does not look like the picture at all so I hope this is the right bug. The Travel bug
Number matches this but not the picture. Will move along anyway.
