Current Goal

This is a coin from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department in Charlotte, North Carolina.  I would like this coin to continue to travel and if possible a photograph taken with the coin next to a local police department patch, patrol car, sign or badge.

Badge Coin

     The coin displays the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Badge with the American flag as its background.  The badge is unique in its designed.  It is that of a hornest nest and the idea (or history) behind the badge dates back to the Revolutionary War, during which time the resistance of the patriots of Mecklenburg County were said to be "A hornet's nest of rebellion".
