Current Goal

NASA Bug wants to visit the Kennedy Space Center then return to the Seattle area before the end of 2004. It pays tribute to the crew of space shuttle Columbia.

About This Item

NASA Bug

This Travel Bug pays tribute to the astronauts lost in the space shuttle Columbia accident. Its purpose is to reach the Kennedy Space Center then return to Seattle intact, where it will be kept as a souvenir. It would like to stop at the hometowns of the American astronauts who were lost, as a way of paying tribute to them. Additionally, it wouldn't mind visiting and having its picture taken at various NASA facilities.

In memory of:

Michael Anderson - Spokane, WA
Laurel Clark - Racine, WI
Rick Husband - Lubbock, TX
Willie McCool - Lubbock, TX
David Brown - Arlington, VA
Kalpana Chawla - India
