Current Goal

Kota is a small black bear who was born in the Smoky Mountains in NC. She wants to meet her cousins in Alaska, Canada, and any other states that may have bears. She is friendly and loves to travel and visit interesting places. Please take her along and introduce her to new places and friends. She likes having her picture taken too. After all her adventures, she would like to return to Bears in the Woods Cache (GCJPVE) in Salisbury, NC.

UPDATE:  Our Bears in the Woods cache went missing long ago.  Kota would like to return to Eagles Point Cache (GCJPVR) near Salisbury, NC.

Grabbed this bear while it was digging bugs out of a rotting log. It calmed down once I got it's head in the backpack. Gave it some food and I think we are friends now. Looking for a way to return it to the wild. [:( ))
