I visited a cache in eastern Kentucky called Cache in the Box with the intent of dropping off a travel bug that I had rescued from a seldom visited cache in Tennessee. I had been caching in eastern Kentucky the day before with no caches of size to drop the Bear TB from the Czech Republic in, then, unexpectedly, we had to make the same trip out there the next day. The Cache in the Box was perfect. When I looked inside the cache, there was this RAT! After my initial startlement, I realized Mikie was a fun caching-sort of rat and I grabbed him to move him along. He was a fun companion for the rest of my caching that day. I have four daughters and they all really enjoyed meeting Mikie too! He is now resting comfortably in our home until I can go out and find him another cache to visit, hopefully very soon.
