These are Debiko & DownShifter’s Cachin’ Coins. These are similar to coins that we leave in our favorite caches. These particular two are our TB travelers. We hope they’ll get to visit many, many caches that we’ll never get to see personally. Please keep them moving along and visiting caches and cachers all over the world.
Launched by Debiko and DownShifter, D&D Cachin’ Coins TB began its journey on July 4th weekend, 2006 in Richland, Washington, USA. We’d like to them travel to caches, and far away places that we’ll never get a chance to visit. These are actually “squashed nickel” coins. We got a bunch of these made and leave them in our favorite caches as trade items. This particular travel bug version is for moving about the world. If you get a chance, take it across an ocean or two and let it visit other countries. After 7 years of traveling (2013) try to send this TB back home and see if it can end up in a cache located in the Tri-Cities (Richland), Washington, USA by that time. So far this TB has traveled to Austria, France, Germany, Iceland, Netherlands, Oregon, Switzerland, and Washington.
