About This Item

This is a 2 inch coin with a painting of Henry VIII from about 1537. Painted by Hans Holbien. The reverse of the coin has the Tudor Rose (his symbol) and the years he lived, having ruled from 1509-1547. At the bottom of the coin is his signature. Only 100 of these coins were made and only about 20 at this time are in the field.
