Bridezilla

Okay, so half the population has been a bride, or is bride potential. Between us all, there has been at least one wedding to cover each one of us! I myself have been through two. This travel bug is to commemorate all that has gone wrong on each of our big days.

Wedding #1: Besides marrying the wrong man, the Model A car that was to take us from my parent's home to the wedding site showed up at the wrong place (despite a confirmation just the day before). Guests arrived at the wedding site before I did.

Wedding #2: The flower lady was a total flake. She wanted cash up front (clue #1) and kept suggesting totally inappropriate decorations (clue #2). We put a deposit down on two of the large spray baskets and left them in the Elks Lodge for her to pick up (as she suggested) and she never went back. We never got the deposit back.

And just let me get started on the favors!! We ordered 125 gold metal bells from a lady with a home based business. We got them on time but when I opened them up to add the decorations I found discolored fingerprints all over them. It turned out that after she received the bells, she had her kids open them all and add an advertising sticker for her business. Once the metal was touched it soon discolored. I had to return them all and then sweat out her negotiations with the factory. I eventually got my pristine bells but it was down to the wire for the favors.
