About This Item

Oval silver color geocoin with photo of Quebec city bridge. It is the world's longest cantilever bridge, with 549 metres of clear span between its main pillars. The Quebec Bridge was completed on September 20th, 1917.  Today it is considered as a world-class engineering masterpiece and has been designated as an International Historic Civil Engineering Landmark and a National Historic Site of Canada.

 

Geocoin de couleur argent et de forme ovale avec photo du pont de Québec. Il est le plus long pont cantilever au monde, faisant 549 mètres de portée libre entre ses piliers principaux. Le pont de Québec a été complété le 20 septembre 1917. Il est aujourd’hui considéré comme un chef-d’œuvre mondial d’ingénierie, désigné Monument historique international du génie civil et Lieu historique national du Canada.
