Current Goal

My original mission was to get back to my home town, Augusta, WI. It's located in west central wisconsin. I made it with in a few miles and I thank you for my 14 years of Adventures.  My tribe has grown to five since I set off.  It's time for them to finally meet me.  My new mission is to make it back to Kitsap County, Washington.  Please help me get there, I hear my kids are excited to meet me!!

    We retrieved the Popeye TB from "Withee's Black river on the Yellowstone Trail" and brought him to this cache four miles north of Augusta. We would have taken him all the way into Augusta and left him in the "Welcome to Augusta, have a nice day!" cache (by bobcatw98) but since the last three logs stated that they couldn't find that cache we decided to play it safe and put Popeye in the Lake Eau Claire cache. So Popeye made it within about four miles of home after starting out in Washington state on 7/2/06.

    This was our first Travel Bug! It was a hoot to find it! Even neater was that when we got home the four travel bugs we had ordered from groundspeak.com were in the mailbox! Now we can start our own bugs on their trips!

    We took a weekend trip to Wisconsin to take my mom and dad to visit my mom's sister who lives near Abbottsford. During the trip home we introduced my 73 year old dad to geocaching and wanted to share our first travel bug find with him. We retrieved the Popeye TB from "Withee's Black river on the Yellowstone Trail" and will take him as close to his goal/home in Augusta, WI as we can get him.
