TB Arthur möchte auf seinen Reisen alte Burgen besichtigen oder Drachen jagen! Oder auch die ein oder andere Jungfrau retten.
Deshalb fände er es sehr schön, wenn er nur in Caches abgelegt wird, die an einer Burg oder an einem Schloss liegen.

Arthur made a long quest along French and Spanish castles. Plan was to leave him near one of the castles, but the caches were too small or were vanished. So we plan to put him in a cache in Belgium again. hereby we post some pictures of his journey.

  • La Rochelle, Tour de la Chaîne Arthur visited the enforced towers of the harbour. A chain between this tower and the Tour St Nicolas could prevent ships from entering the harbour. Afterwards we visited the cache "au bout du monde".
  • Arthur at Olite Arthur defends princess Debz of the Nadaj family, attached to Deryn the dolphin (TD38YAW) against a dragon. The Royal castle of Olite was the built by CarlosIII of Navarra and was the residence of the kings of Navarra. One of his descendents, Juan of Navarra and Aragon was the grandfather of Catherina of Castilia (1485-1536) who was married to Arthur, prince of Wales.The picture is taken from within the parador that uses now a part of the castle.
  • looking at th alcazar of Segovia Arthur stands on the city walls of Segovia, in front of the Alcazar. You see the tower of juan II.
  • The Alcazar of Segovia Plan was to leave him in "in the shadow of the alcazar" but he cache was demolished. The alcazar was built between 1410 and 1455, but destroyed by a fire in 1862, and is now restaured. It is the most visited castle in Spain. This picture is taken from a spot near the caching place.
  • Castillo de la Mota Arthur in castillo de la Mota, in Medina del Campo, original a Moorish castle, later in the hands of Ferdinad an Isabella, known as the Catholic kings and parents of Catharina, the one that married Arthur of Wales.
  • Castillo de Coca This is a beautiful Mudejar castle of the 15th century, where the noble family Fonseca lived.
  • Château d'Amboise In this royal castle, king François I grew up. Here is also Leonardo da Vinci buried.
