Our original Pacheco's Pig was returned to us by fellow geocachers , Bubblegummers a few years ago. He has been lounging in a box in the closet, and with his michievious nature has been quite bored, so we decided to take him on our travels. Since every single one of our travel bugs has gone missing, we will no longer be leaving him behind at any of the caches we visit.
Pacheco's Pig is named for the pig in The Millagro Beanfield War, a very good book by John Nichols, as well as a movie produced by Robert Redford. Pacheco's Pig was always getting into mischief and made quite a name for himself in the tiny fictitious community of Milagro, New Mexico.
