Current Goal

I would like to travel to Wrigley Field, but would settle for a trip to any other ball park (major, minor, college, high school, little leagues.) Please take a picture of me at the game. Anyone picking up the bug, please take me to at least one baseball game! If the dirty laundry across town can win the series, so can the Cubbies! BELIEVE!

If you hold on to me for more than a few weeks, the curse of the Cubs may be upon you...don't chance it!

TB is currently MIA, hopefully it will turn up soon.

It's hard not to believe this year. In the past 30 some years wev'e had several "100 year" floods (including the one we're experiencing right now.) So now we have the "100 year" Cubs, and thy're looking awful good. If it were up to the script writers, the Cubs would be home free. However, this is the real baseball world, and even Cub fans realize that it's a tough road ahead. But they've got a lot of people pulling for them right now, including me, a lifelong Cardinals fan.
(The magic number is 6, and it could be 4 within the hour)

This little bug arrived in my mailbox from puggle exactly one day after my last Cubs game, so I held onto it and went today! Cubs win in 11 innings 3-2 over the hated Cardinals. Took plenty of pics at the game. Will be sending on its way home to Oregon soon!

  • Get that monkey off my back...no seriously... WGN, the radio voice of the Cubs was broadcasting their shows from a trailer outside Wrigley this afternoon. In front of that was a monkey...yeah...a monkey...why? I don't know, but it was cute and sat on my shoulder and held the bug...
  • Never pass up an opportunity to pee in a trough. Seriously....It's way fun :)
  • Be alert.... ...for foul balls. I have a replica of this sign hanging over my son's diaper changing table...took my wife a week to figure out why :)
