This particular AGG Geocoin's mission is to first introduce the 54 Sparks Unit to not only Geocaching, but also to the community's protection and care of the environment through involvement in events put on by Geocachers world wide - such as attending a CITO!
We hope to move the coin around, visiting as many caches we find in the next few weeks, before introducing these young ladies to the world of Geocaching! Once introduced, we hope to explore the many beautiful areas of our community where many Cachers have hidden treasures for the girls to hunt down and explore, follow the Geocoin as it moves with them and follow the maps and, perhaps, just before their Bridging Ceremony to continue on the next 100 years of Guiding in Alberta, release their coin into the wide world of Geocaching. Let's see where in the world we can go!
This is a "Three Cheers for 100 Years" Geocoin celebrating 100 years of Girl Guides in Alberta, Canada. Many of these beautiful coins were distributed to various Sparks, Brownies, Guides, and Pathfinders Units throughout Alberta to help celebrate this great milestone!
