Current Goal

I started out in Coloma California - the biggest whitewater rafting & kayaking town on the west coast - right on the banks of the South Fork American River.

I would love to travel to other whitewater towns to see what they have to see.  Thanks for picking me up!

Photo taken in Woodland Park, Colorado, where we live and close to our home, have a very good view of Pikes Peak. At 14,110 feet (4300 meters), Pikes Peak was the inspiration to Katharine Lee Bates who, in 1895, wrote "America the Beautiful". In the attached photo, Pikes Peak is the tallest mountain, near the center of the picture. Also, Pikes Peak is the site of the second oldest auto race in the US – the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC), second only to the Indianapolis 500. The PPIHC celebrated its 100th anniversary on June 26, 2016. Photo taken from 38° 59.343'N 105° 3.695'W

Grabbed this very nice little hopper today and will move him along soon. I think he might be hopping all the way to Colorado! There is some great white water rafting there. Brown's Canyon is about an hour from my place in Woodland Park and the kids and I have been rafting there before.
