About This Item

West Coast Eco Totem – Frog

Teil der Coinsammlung der Kanustation Mirow / poseptun

Canadian set of four geocoins. The coins are individually trackable, with customs icons, but can be combined to form a totem pole.

This West Coast theme totem was designed by our favourite First Nation artist Tom Spetter. A tremendous amount of thought went into the hierarchy of the images and how they work together to create balance in the ecosystems on the west coast of Canada.

The four coins, from top to bottom, are:

Raven - The clever Raven represents the rich heritage of the West Coast.

Sea Otters are making a slow recovery... protect the ocean.

Man has the power to maintain the balance of nature... or not.

Protect the Frogs and you will preserve the balance of nature.

The two-tone coins are separate but stand together as one to create the totem you see before you.
