Once upon a time, two crazy geocachers set out to paddle the sound behind Okaloosa Island, Florida to finish finding every hidden cache on the islands. BeachBumsX2 was in a kayak and AUTigerz was on her trusty paddleboard. As AUTigerz was just finishing up a cache called "Laissez les bons temps rouler" http://coord.info/GC4DRR5, BeachBumzX2 spies a pile of something odd and says (in her usual sarcastic, sassy manner), "Hey, what the heck is that, Optimus Prime?" AUTigerz replies, "Looks like a bunch of Bud cans to me ". Upon closer inspection, BeachBumsX2 says, "Hey! IT IS OPTIMUS PRIME! NO WAY!" Sure enough, it was...well HALF of an Optimus Prime toy, anyway. The two nuts decided to claim this prize, make him a friendship trackable and share custody of him. After several silly photos, he was loaded onto BeachBumsX2's kayak to their last cache of the day and then on back to dry land. His name is "Halftimus Prime" because he is missing his bottom half, but he is loved WHOLLY by both his owners. He represents a true friendship between two "HALF" crazy geocachers...committed to keeping secrets, helping each other stay "HALF" sane, and obeying all geocaching guidelines...well, at least "HALF" of them, anyway.
