Current Goal

This was a gift and is my first trackable, its mission will be to travel to all the places and caches I visit, hopefully, all over the world! If this Geocoin ever parts company with me, its mission will be to come back to me, whatever the distance, with a good story.

About This Item

KCCO Wooden Nickel

The phrase Keep Calm and Carry On (KCCO) originates from propaganda posters created in England during World War II. These posters were meant to be a voice of hope should the Germans ever invade and capture Britain. Since this never occurred, the posters were not needed or used and were long forgotten. In recent years these posters have resurfaced and the saying had become a popular icon. Many people have adapted the idea and adopted the initials for their own purpose, but most still maintaining the concept of hope and perseverance despite what obstacles may arise.

I love this concept and try to incorporate this ideal in my daily life and find that it easily translates into so many facets of my world, including caching. (Keep Calm and Cache On!) and have signed every cache with KCCO! since I started caching.

After finding a few of their caches, the Love Cachers didn't recognize the acronym and asked me the meaning. A few months later Jay Love said he was browsing Geocoins and stumbled upon this gem and immediately felt the urge to get one for me and I couldn't be more thankful. Thank you Love Cachers!
