Budweiser Budvar (Budějovický Budvar in Czech) is an original Czech Beer! Its name was stolen by Americans later, but originaly it is from the Czech Republic. It is brewed in České Budějovice, the capital of southern Bohemia. "Budweis" is a name of České Budějovice in German. You can found more about this famous beer here: http://www.budvar.cz/en. And believe me - an original Czech Budweiser is much better then the American one!
