Grabbed this one today, and I hope to pass it along soon. I only knew one of my grandmas, and she seemed so stern when I was young. As I look back, I see she was an amazing woman: a career woman (nurse) when women stayed home to run the house. She saw the technology go from big radios to tiny tvs to BIG tvs and then computers. She had her last kid when she was in her mid 40s. AND she told the best Polish jokes whenever grandpa left the room (she was German).
