Hello - my name is Edward Bear and I am setting out on a journey that will take me many thousands of miles, from near London to North Carolina in the USA. Along the way I will be looking for my friend "Bear Across the World" who got lost when he was very close to getting to his target (http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=68558).
I am starting my journey on May 16th as I am celebrating a friend's birthday. On the journey I would like to visit as many interesting places that I can, and hopefilly I can reach my final destination by May 16th 2015?
I'll decide on my precise destination nearer the time! In the meantime, who can take me over the oceanor maybe somewhere fun in the UK?

So - the bear bgins his journey today - his sights set on North Carolina. Bon Voyage!
First step - let's find a suitable cache to leave him in... The Carp on Bury Lake looks nice tpoday - have now dropped him :-)
