To travel anywhere of your choice to highlight the lovely sandy beaches of my birth town, Cleethorpes. Thank you for your help and have a good and safe journey.
Cleethorpes II - the Donkey ride. Cleethorpes, on the East Coast of England was my home town during childhood. It has some lovely stretches of golden sand and views of the Humber estuary. It is always busy during summer weekends with visitors from Yorkshire, Nottingham & Derbyshire. With Grimsby docks close by it has always been famous for excellent fish & chips. For over 100 years it has also been popular for its Donkey rides along the beachfront. These rides are as popular in 2014 as they were 100 years ago and I remember the experience from when I was a child. The key fob attached is a photo of a typical Donkey ride passing the pier on the well kept beach. If you are ever in the East coast of England a visit is recommended.
