The text on the charm, "Aivoliitto" means Brain Alliance or Brain Union in Finnish. It's an organization that promotes knowledge about stroke (a hemorrage or ischemia in the brain) and aphasia (a disturbance in understanding language).
I got the charm at a charity concert by the Japanese pianist Izumi Tateno (See: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8FaPBEN8Uk), whose right hand is partially paralyzed due to a stroke attack in 2002. Still, he continues to play compositions especially made for only the left hand, which is very amazing.
So, remember how awesome things your brain can do and take care of this little thing :)
