Abhaya Mudra é um amuleto usado no Budismo que elimina o medo, concede proteção e felicidade.
Possui a forma de uma mão simétrica, cujo polegar e o mindinho são idênticos e apontam para os lados e para o horizonte, e o dedo médio é o eixo de simetria.
Possui vários nomes e função consoante a cultura onde se insere: a Hamsá no Islamismo e Judaísmo, Mão de Deus, Mão de Fátima, Olho de Fátima, Mão de Míriam ou mão de Hamesh, funcionando como escudo contra o mau-olhado, Chamsá para os defensores da paz no Médio Oriente.

Abhaya Mudra is an amulet used in Buddhism that dispels fear, grants protection and happiness.
Has the shape of a symmetrical hand whose thumb and pinky are identical and point to the sides and to the horizon, and the middle finger is the axis of symmetry.
It has several names and function depending on the culture in which it operates: Hamsa in Islam and Judaism, Hand of God, Hand of Fatima, Eye of Fatima, Hand of Miriam or Hamesh hand, working as a shield against the evil eye, to chamsa peacekeepers in the Middle East.
