Meet BonnieBoo the Bush Baby. Her goal is to travel the forests of North America in serch of a new home. She loves jumping from cache to cache and stowing away in pockets and backpacks to enjoy hikes in the woods. She is a camera ham; feel free to photograph her travels. Though native to Africa, she is in no hurry to return, preferring to travel abroad and have new adventures.
BonnieBoo is a 3" stuffed bush baby toy. Bush babies, or Galagos, are small nocturnal primates, native to the continent of Africa. Their large eyes and bat-like ears equip them well for night-time hunting. Bush babies have strong hind legs which make them excellent jumpers. They are fast and agile and can move through the trees and brush with ease at night.
Bush babies live in small family groups, mostly female. Mothers keep their young with them until the babies mature. Males will leave the group but the young females stay on and become part of the colony. Individuals feed separately during the night, finding insects, fruits and tree gum.The young may be seen racing around through the trees playing chase. At dawn, rallying calls bring the group back to a common area where they snuggle together to sleep in tree hollows during the day.
Most countries discourage keeping bush babies as pets. But BonnieBoo is an exception! She loves company so take her along on your next adventure, then send her on her way.
