Keychain from Columbus New Mexico with photo of the old El Paso and Southwestern railroad station. 

Columbus NM was invaded by Pancho Villa in 1916. Also the site of Camp Furlong which has some old adobe buildings dating to about 1915 and Pancho Villa State Park. From Columbus General Pershing led an unsuccessful punitive expedition 500 miles into Mexico. This is also the site of the first military airfield and first use of armored vehicles.

Columbus in the early 20th century was the biggest city in New Mexico.
