My mission is to travel from cache to cache in the Portland, OR metropolitan area, preferably with cachers and their dogs. Take some pictures of me with your geo-dog(s) and move me along to another location where dogs might love to play and run.

Ripley at Treasure Island

When I first started to explore geocaching, I had three dogs; and living in rainy Oregon, they were often wet and muddy dogs. So my nickname became 3MudDogs. I lost Jayce and Pig early in my caching days, so they didn't get to visit very many cache locations. But my jack russell terrier, Ripley, lived for the next eleven years of geocaching. She was with me for over 90% of my first 5736 caches, traipsing up and down trails and beaches, sidewalks and parking lots, rock piles and log jams, and paved roads, gravel roads, dirt roads and barely there roads. She was intrepid, trusting me always, and going anywhere I went. She was a great dog.

Please honor my Ripley by moving this bug from cache to cache, visiting other geo-dogs and their caching owners along the way. And if you have a dog or two, hug them each and every day. And as much as possible, take them with you along your caching journey.
