Best Friends For Life....And Beyond: Dawn N Debby
The Heart of Rock N Roll is Dedicated to my Best Friend. Debby.
We have shared everything. Literally! It all started out with a deep purple room. As Teenage girls who were just learning about life, giggling in the dark while we shared our deepest and darkest secrects and dreams for our future, which no one else could ever understand.
Being an Army Brat, and just a Plain out Brat, no matter what ocean I crossed, or what borders I found myself on... Even when I wasnt sure I even knew my own name.....Debby always found me. I think she is part Blood Hound lol. She has always been there for me. Always and EVERY time I can count on her to be there. When I clearly have not aways been known to win the "Friend of the year award, or even the friend that ever calls...."
This year, she did something wonderfully exceptional for my 46th Birthday. She took me on a Girls Only Vacation to Biloxi to stay at the Hard Rock Cafe, and to the Joan Jett Concert.
For 32 years this wonderful woman has stood by my side, as my Best Friend even when I turned her away. She never waivered. She has never even said "You were wrong." Not once. Not one even "I told You so..." Only "l love You...I will always be there, no matter what...and ....You can call me Ya Know!" So, Through Puppy Loves, True Loves & Heartaches, Marriages, Lots of Miles, Migraines, Children, Divorces, Life, Love, Loss, Grief, Laughter, Tears, a New Grandbaby, Sand, all these YEARS... and even GeoCaching She is still....My Debby! I Love Her So Much for Her Beautiful Heart and Soul. Our Friendship will Always Live On!
So I dedicate this Little Purple Guitar to My Best Friend Debby, Straight From My Heart to Hers....to enjoy its travels and Rockin' adventures! May we have Many Many More! Cheers:) It shall not be "Set Free" until we are Together again.
