George just got his private pilot's license and wants to head over to Athens, Greece to visit his family.
The only problem is that the airplane he's flying has no navigational aids. So he needs your help to get there.
**** UPDATE APRIL 2005 *****
Well folks, George has been flying around for almost 3 years now and many things have changed since he first took off. He needs to get back to Calgary for some well-earned RNR. If you can help, we'd both be grateful! Thanks everyone for a wonderful adventure! ******
George, the travel bug, needs to get to Athens, Greece to visit his family, which he hasn't seen in years.
So, he took flying lessons, got his permit and bought a small plane. All that cost him quite a lot of money and he didn't have enough to get the instrument package.
Without any thought, he took from Calgary and he's presently looking for your help to get him to his destination.
If you can help him along, then that would be great.
Once he reaches Athens, just email me and I'll arrange for his family to meet or pick him up.

Last saw George back in August... sorry to see he has got no nearer to Greece. However, he seems happy hanging out at Spud's Truck Stop with the other bugs. George, good luck once again and hope you get to Europe soon

Well, George needed a rest after the weekend. He helped me trade in my airship for a new car at Crazy D's...since I'm taking a yr off from flying.
We had a little party at the house sat night...can't show any of the pictures..you know how pilots get😉
so he thought he would stay at Spuds truck stop and see if he could catch a ride overseas.

Being a fellow pilot, I couldn't let George sit for to long. He'll dry out and hang out with us for a bit then we will send him on his way.
