About This Item

Mercury Mission Man

Astronaut John Glenn wants to return to outer space. Please help him get to the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas and/or the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. He would love to be the first Travel Bug to leave planet Earth on board a Space Shuttle; however, with the recent hiatus of Shuttle missions this might not be possible so this Travel Bug will settle for a tour of the aforementioned space centers. After he completes his mission please help him return to any cache in Nashville, Tennessee.

Well it's been quite a long time since I've seen anything about my Mercury Mission Man. I keep hoping that he'll reappear but the chances are not good since the Mission Man's last known location was in a spoiled and now archived cache.
If you see him please send him home.

Picked Mission man from the most eastern cache. Quite a tricky mission but as the space shuttle is in space again perhaps he has a hope !!
Will drop him off near to USAF bases and perhaps he'll be able to hitch a ride in the right direction on a strike eagle or a tanker !!!

Well he didn't get much of a chance to stay at Hermitage of Braid, in fact he didn't even get to see the container, as I snatched him out of the hand of Remote Part. I will move him on soon, don't know if it will help him get into space though, but he has got a bit of space on my computer desk just now.
