A coworker of 10 years retired.
He was a bit of a "collector," though I think that's a polite way of saying he could see a future value in all things. Even 25 year old safety manuals for companies and labs that no longer existed. Manuals on how to keep Supplier quality that were superceded numerous times over.
And a small trinket that a supplier dropped at a trade show somewhere in the last 27 years.
I checked; that supplier is still in business, though I can near guarantee that anyone my coworker would have met is no longer with their company. Likely due to retirement. But hey, the company is still around!
To make people satisfied; there's nothing commerical about this tag. I've no relation to this company, nor do they have any idea I'm sending their 20 year old tag out as a geocaching.com trackable. Heck, GPS satelites weren't even a public option yet!
I'm just glad to have worked with, laughed with, and made it through 10 years or so with my friend and coworker Massoud. I hope he's doing well to this day.
