Current Goal

My 5-year old granddaughter comes to California from Nebraska to stay with me several times a year. She has begun "finding" geocaches with me this summer (2014) and is excited whenever we find a travel bug. We bought this unicorn for her and we hope it can make the same journey that she makes so often: she is releasing it in California and it is headed for Fremont, Nebraska, before returning home to Rocklin, California. Once it gets back she wants to send it somewhere else, but she doesn't know where just yet. We are going to track it together, so please take it to as many caches as you can before sending it closer to Nebraska. We have caching family in Colorado, so if it could stop off there, that would be awesome. Thanks for taking care of her first travel bug.

Austin's Unicorn is heading off on the second leg of its journey. It successfully traveled from California to Nebraska and back to California. Austin was able to find her travel bug and was so excited to look on a map and see how far it had traveled. We are sending it out into the world again and hope it has great adventures out there. Please take good care of it, and, with a lot of luck, it will travel far and wide and come back to California by summer 2016.

I can't find this TB. I last remember putting it into my daypack to take to KSC yesterday morning so I could take a photo of it there, but I never took the photo and the TB is not in the daypack now, nor anywhere else. I fear I must have taken it out, set it down and forgotten it when looking for a geocache in Cape Canaveral, or taking my camera out to take a photo, or going through security, or buying something at KSC--those are my best guesses. It has to be somewhere in Cape Canaveral, or near or at KSC. I sure hope a geocacher finds it and puts it back in action, or that I find it in my luggage after all. At least I had printed up the info page and put it all in a Baggie so folks will know what it is. Sorry.
