Current Goal

To explore the galaxy one cache at a time, pausing now and then for exterminations and photo opportunities.

Like the Doctor, the Dalek gets bored easily, so please move along within 2 weeks.

NO EVENTS Please far too many bugs have gone to meets and then have vanished,  thanks

The original  blue flat metal  was stolen why? Who knows, now a yellow rubber Dalek, but just as special  to me.

About This Item

mk2 of my special bug!

Celebrating 50 years of the BBC TV sci fi series Doctor Who this is a metal geogear travel tag the size of a Travel Bug. This trackable features a picture of the Doctor’s greatest foe, a Dalek, on one side and the tracking code on the other.

The Daleks are one of the most feared races in the universe. Their creator, Davros only has one intention, destroying all life apart from Dalek life. The Doctor has stopped them on several occasions but somehow (a bit like a cacher with a DNF) they just keep coming back! The idea of the Daleks was created by Terry Nation. They appeared in the second Doctor Who story called ‘The Dead Planet‘ in 1963. Raymond Cusick designed the original Daleks, and their metallic rasps of “EXTERMINATE!” have echoed through the universe ever since.

To help those cachers who do not have instant internet access in the wilderness or those who have left their sonic screwdrivers at home, it is attached to a small keyring that has brief details of the trackable’s mission.
