Laura overlooking Duesseldorf Rheinufer

The first six months of 2014 I stayed in Düsseldorf to improve my German language skills.
2014 also means that it is 25 years since I spent a year in the USA learning English.
That must be celebrated with a trackable object.
 
I asked Laura the Owl to fly from Düsseldorf to places I visited in the USA 25 years ago, and after that return to me in Sweden.
Please help Laura navigate to the places listed below, you are very welcome to upload a picture of her in a nice place along the way.

Die erste sechs Monate 2014 verbrachte ich in Düsseldorf als Deutschlerner.
2014 bedeutet auch 25 Jahre seit dem ich fast ein Jahr in der USA wohnte und Englisch lernte.

De första sex månaderna 2014 bodde jag i Düsseldorf för att lära mig tyska.
