Goal: Travel from cache to cache in search of BRAAAAINS. Visit Geocaching events. Spread the plague. Please take photos!
Meet Mallory a zombie who has become patient number eighty-seven in our study of the propagation of the zombie plague via geocaching. Mallory was a New Zealander who had a striking resemblance to Frankie Valli, a hair helmet, and who collected duck decoys. Mallory was a sort of life-of-the- party sort of guy, and his favorite part of gecocaching was events, which he hosted often.
We believe that Mallory contracted the zombie plague from patient eighty-six, Spencer. Spencer and his wife Mae (patient ninety) travelled to New Zealand for a combined geocaching/birding vacation. They both attended an event that Mallory hosted, and we believe that they were both infected at the time. We think it more likely that Malloryy contracted the plague from Spencer, as Mae (who was a very jealous woman) usually spent more time with the ladies trying to prevent Spencer from getting to speak with them. At any rate, we also know that Mallory shared an interest in bonsai with Spencer. Sadly, Mallory is no longer the life of anyone's party, as he succumbed to the plague shortly thereafter.
This travel bug is part of a larger study to take a closer look at how the zombie plague might propagate if the primary vector for spreading the disease was geocaching. Please visit the following website for further details, and a visualization of how the disease has propagated thus far based on the movement and discovery of this and other infected Zombie travel bugs:
