I was living in the Bronx on 9/11/2001 when the tragedy happened. I will never forget that day. I lost a childhood friend and went down around ground zero 5 days later to see what it looked like and I saw burnt up cars that were piled on top of each other, thousands of boxes of food/supplies that people brought for the workers and I saw a Burger King with Police Headquarters spray painted on the side of it. On 9/12 every house had an American flag hanging out front! It was a beautiful site to see!!! God bless America!!!!!
