Kauai Roo begins her journey

Roo was chosen as a find in a cache on the island of Kauai. My two girls age 5 and 6 have been caching for almost 2 years and considering they've never cached anywhere else but our little Island, they have seen much about the world by following our first TB Placed in Polihale. That first TB was placed in the most western cache of the US and has a mission to reach the North/South/East cache before returning. What a journey,and that Little Kauai Mo'o is having a blast. After talking about this little joey, we decided to name it Kauai Roo and to send her off as our second TB to her Austrailian homeland. My husband has traveled in Austrailia and New Zealand and his stories fascinate the girls, we hope to return one day to explore that huge Island country. For now, little Roo is traveling with a bit of Kauai(a Kukui Nut bracelet), and we hope after she reaches Austrailia and does some exploring, some other Geocacher will swap the bracelet for an Austrailian pin and send her back to our Island to be retrieved.

My Colorado Ohana found this lovely cache last year- They are newbies and while I got them a premium membership- their logging skills are lacking. I will work on helping them improve :)
But they had gone in search of ROO as she was close to their home. ROO was found and after a journey of 15 years she has officially made it back to Kaua'i. We are amazed at the journey and will cherish tracking this TB for so many years. Thank you to all who kept her moving along!
