Current Goal

Hello: This bug is currently MIA, it was last listed as being in the "Bouncing" cache (GCHZN1) in Arizona. Unfortunately that cache appears to have been muggled in Early January 2005. If you happen upon this travel bug please contact me and lets help him to get moving again.

The ultimate goal is to place this bug in a cache in the Peoria Arizona area for my Dad to retrieve. Speed to Arizona is not as important as taking him on tour with you. The boys are touring again; Take him to see "The Dead" when they go back out this year. Take him to a Ratdog show or a Phil and Friends show. The ultimate would be to have his picture taken with one of the band members. Whether you are a Deadhead or not just take this bear to cool places for Dad and Me to go on a virtual tour with you. The Dead played in front of the Sphinx in Egypt in 1978, so a picture there would be cool too.

Dark Star Travel Bear/bug ready to go on Tour

Hello: This Bug is the fourth of my four-part series of Birthday Travel Bugs I'm sending to my Dad. I found this bear in a cache recently and decided that he needed to go on "tour" rather then end up in some kids pile of stuffed animals. This is an official Grateful Dead Bear made by Liquid Blue. Grabbed this one this morning on the way to work. I will be taking him to Geo-Woodstock in Nashville, TN this weekend where he will be in the company of about 250 other Travel Bugs. There are people coming from TX and CA that may be able to get this closer to AZ for you. Don't know when your dad's birthday is, but I hope it gets there.
