I'm not a prize, I'm a geocoin travel bug. When you find me, please move me to another cache soon.

My owner, DrMellow, love history, especially history surrounding the events of what is commonly called the American Civil War. When he saw this series of geocoins, he was excited to pick up a few of them.

I'd like to visit, and have my photograph made, at as many American Civil War sites as possible. A great resource for American Civil War sites is CivilWarTraveler.com, which lists many cites on the Civil War Discovery Trails.

While you're taking me to various American Civil War sites, you may enjoy waymarking various sites in the Civil War Discover Trail Sites and American Civil War Monuments and Memorials waymarking categories.
