Deze geocoin heeft de eindeloze knop als ontwerp, een Boeddhistisch symbool voor wijsheid en medeleven. Op de andere kant staat de opkomende zon, geïnspireerd op de vlag van Tibet. Zowel de eindeloze knoop als de Tibetaanse vlag zijn beide sterke symbolen van Tibet. Deze geocoin wil reizen om aandacht te vragen voor de situatie in Tibet. Sinds 1949 leven Tibetanen in een bezet land of leven ze als vluchteling in het buitenland. Als je deze geocoin logt op het internet, misschien kun je dan ook een bezoek brengen aan: http://www.tibet.org/index.html om wat over de situatie in Tibet te lezen. This geocoin contains the endless knot. In Buddhism this is the symbol of wisdom and compassion. The rising sun on the other side is inspired by the flag of Tibet. Both the endless knot and the Tibetan flag are strong symbols of Tibet. This geocoin wants to travel to ask attention for the Tibetan case. Since 1949 all Tibetans live in an occupied Tibet or live as refugees outside Tibet If you log this geocoin on the internet, maybe you can also visit: http://www.tibet.org/index.html and read about the situation in Tibet. [violet]I'm currently hitchhiking my way around Europe as part of a geocaching trip around the world. My first stop was Ireland where I spent a couple weeks touring the country. I then flew to London and spent a couple weeks touring the United Kingdom. From there I made my way through the tunnel and up to Amsterdam and then back down to Belgium. After that I headed for France. Then from there I headed to Portugal for a mega event that was happening. After that I headed for Denmark to attend another Mega event. I then made my way North into Sweden and then even further North to Norway. After that I proceeded to work my way back down South through Finland and then ferry hopped my way through a few of the islands to arrive back in Sweden. Next I made my way to Germany for another Mega event and then back to the Netherlands for still another mega event. I was then fortunate enough to see this collection of geocoins and have the opportunity to discover them all

These were made available for discovery at the superb GeoCoinFest in Eindhoven. We had a wonderful day and have added it into our plan for next year's possible ventures as we prepare to bring the UK Mega to Yorkshire in 2018 :)

Voor het eerst op een Geocoinfest geweest en een leuke dag gehad. Snel langs een aantal kraampjes gelopen en daarna caches gezocht in de omgeving.

Ook mocht ik deze mooie verzameling discoveren. Geo-Dragonchild bedankt voor de trackingcodes.

Op het Geocoinfest in Eindhoven, wilde ik echt bij zijn. Met Emxj hiernaar toe gegaan. Hier veel kraampjes gezien waar geocoins en trackables te koop waren. Maar op de bovenverdieping waren een aantal vitrines met verzamelingen te bewonderen 🙂. Waaronder deze bijzonder mooie van jou, Geo-Dragonchild.

Bedankt deze te mogen bewonderen in het echt en daadwerkelijk te kunnen discoveren omdat ik de tracking-codes persoonlijk van jou heb ontvangen 👍.
